Invitées à exposer en duo à la Villa Bernasconi, Marta Margnetti et Shirin Yousefi travaillent autour des narrations féminines, en explorant les parcours, relations et héritages liés aux sphères privées, ou en abordant des histoires sociales et politiques, souvent centrées sur des formes de résistances.
A travers les techniques artisanales anciennes, Marta Margnetti évoque son histoire familiale, son rapport au corps et à l’environnement domestique. Les œuvres de Shirin Yousefi passent par un processus de dématérialisation jusqu’à devenir des présences volatiles, voire fantomatiques, qui s’inscrivent dans le lieu. Objets, textiles, vidéos et sons dialoguent ensemble entre le tangible et l’impalpable.
Duetto à mi voix évoque des murmures et des chuchotements qui, malgré leur faible intensité et leur fragmentation, parviennent à s’unir en une voix forte et unique.

Invited to exhibit their work at the Villa Bernasconi, the duo Marta Margnetti and Shirin Yousefi work around feminine narratives to explore the journeys, relationships and heritage of the private sphere and social and political events often focussed on forms of resistance.
Using ancient artisanal techniques, Marta Margnetti recalls her family history and her relationship with the body and the home environment. The works of Shirin Yousefi go through a process of dematerialisation until they take on a volatile, even ghostly, existence which is etched into the location. Objects, textiles, videos and sound hold a dialogue between the tangible and the insubstantial.
Duetto à mi voix recalls murmurs and whispers that, despite their muted sound and their fragmentation, achieve unity in a strong and unique voice.
