Cécile Bart et Pierre Leguillon, Giulia Bowinkel & Friedemann Banz, Romain et Simon de Diesbach, Lucien Monot et une performance d’Alexis Etienne
How can you bring cinema into an art centre? Let‘s turn on the lights and look at the screen, what it retains of the projected image, or the images and movements it can itself generate. Through Cécile Bart's paintings/screens and Pierre Leguillon's Museum of Mistakes, which dialogue with each other on one floor of the villa, as well as through the photographic research of Giulia Bowinkel & Friedemann Banz, the artistic questioning of the De Diesbach brothers, Lucien Monot’s cinematic deconstructions, and the use of images in the performances of Alexis Étienne, painting, photography, sculpture and literature all present their own cinema.
